Privacy Policy - Twist Alley Uploader
Last updated: November 5, 2026
Twist Alley Uploader ("the app") is a personal desktop application used for owner-authorized management of the Twist Alley YouTube channel. This policy describes what the app accesses and how that data is handled.
What the app accesses
The app connects to the YouTube Data API using Google OAuth to upload videos and to read channel and upload status, on the channel owner's instruction. It requests two YouTube permissions: upload videos to the channel, and view the YouTube account.
How data is used
Channel and video data accessed by the app is used only to carry out uploads and status checks authorized by the channel owner. The app uses Google's YouTube API for uploads and status checks.
Where data is stored
Uploaded videos and channel data are stored by YouTube (Google) under Google's own privacy policy. During operation, the app handles video files, metadata, and access credentials on the computing and storage services used for the channel owner's authorized operation. Credentials are treated as secrets and used only for the authorized operation described above.
Removing access and deleting data
You can revoke the app's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions). Revoking access stops all future access by the app, but does not by itself delete files or data previously stored during authorized operation. To request deletion of stored project files or data, email twistalley.stories@gmail.com.
